Web 2.0

I have my presentation on Web 2.0 today and people are planning to turn up. Maybe it is the refreshments

The hardest part has been to get the Internet management system not to keep blocking things. Hard to to work around Bebo if all you get is a message saying "You have been redirected"

So we have some work to do around that.

Have started a college wiki on Web 2.0. Feel free to add to.

Hi Brian
I am guessing you are a SZ school. Go into you SINA admin area, go to manage users and set yourself free :-) open up all the categories you think you need. This won't affect any other user in your school only you. Is a better way than unblocking individual sites (this can take up to 24 hours & covers your whole school) I have unblocked myself in every system i work in - just takes a lot of the frustrations away.
I found your blog through Bruce Hammonds :-)

Hi Brian
just came across your blog after reading notes on the MoE's 21st Century Learner Conference. I'm really impressed to see a principal blogging as you are - and interested to see what you're reading. All great stuff.

I noted that you've begun to explore using Wikis - I blogged recently about a paper titled "wiki pedagogy" that you might find interesting. (http://blog.core-ed.net/derek/2007/05/wiki_pedagogy_1.html)

Also, with your developing interest in Web2.0 tools, you might find the report on "Learning with social software" of interest.
